This kit provides high quality and purity DNA from plant species that are difficult to isolate and have high secondary metabolite content, by virtue of the powerful chemicals it contains. According to the kit protocol, samples are effectivelly homogenized by both mecanically and chemically with the use of appropriate detergents. Following the homogenization process, the plant DNA is retained in the filters provided in the kit, and the contamination in the cell is effectively purified with the washing buffer.
