HibriGen Plant Genomic DNA Isolation Kit allows the isolation of genomic DNA from both herbaceous and woody plant species using different plant parts (leaf, green stem, seed) with a simple and fast method. This kit provides high quality and purity DNA from plant species that are difficult to isolate and have high secondary metabolite content, by virtue of the powerful chemicals it contains. According to the kit protocol, samples are effectivelly homogenized by both mecanically and chemically with the use of appropriate detergents. Following the homogenization process, the plant DNA is retained in the filters provided in the kit, and the contamination in the cell is effectively purified with the washing buffer. With the final step, the elution stage, pure DNA is obtained for use in different molecular applications.
