HibriGen Plant RNA Isolation Kit allows the isolation of RNA from both herbaceous and woody plant species using different plant parts (fresh, dry or frozen leaf, root, green stem or seed) with a simple and fast method. This kit provides high quality and purity RNA from plant species that are difficult to isolate and have high secondary metabolite content, by virtue of the powerful chemicals it contains. According to the kit protocol, samples are effectivelly homogenized by both mecanically and chemically with the use of appropriate detergents. Following the homogenization process, the plant RNA is retained in the filters provided in the kit, and the contamination in the cell is effectively purified with the washing buffer. With the final step, the elution stage, pure RNA is obtained for use in different molecular applications.
